Hi SpaceCrystal:

(About that CD you said you have bought)

Let's continue:

The CD is divided in two:
1 - first round - from mooladhara to ajna - is given the
instruction, on how to chant the vocalization, slowly , followed by the
chant;
2 - second round - from mooladhara to ajna - just the chant

could be used in many ways:

to learn :
- use the first round - you may follow by the paper how to intonate the
bija sounds and the petals. You may chant with your voice aloud
(better), or to yourself (if you are not alone...). You may use
headphones (the other members of the family may not apreciate it...)

to use like a meditation:
- use any round (1 or 2) and just listen. locate the chakras in your
body (imagine them and try to visualize them).
In your book (Prana, etc), there's a chapter of chakras with a picture.
Visualize each chakra one by one (with the color of that chakra) when
your are listening to their sounds (bija and petals).
Feel the sound with each layer of your body, and imagine you are
releasing, unblocking, that region of your body.
Supose we are talking about the 4th chakra (heart), vizualize it like
green-emerald: feel the chant with the heart, lungs, ribs, everything
opening, etc

- instead of listening you may chant by yourself (alone - with the help
of the paper), or together with Harish Johari ...

use to resolve a specific problem:
- supose you have a block somewhere, or a disease.
Let's say your throat: you have an ache in the throat, or a pain in
your neck, or have dificult to comunicate anything to someone.
In this case you may use just one chakra, and repeat it, many
times..... lets say 15 min...use your intuition

---
The second round is used when you already know (more or else) what the
sounds are (related with each chakra). But even if you don't know,
which is which, never mind, is always good (feel it with all the layers
of your body)...

---
like any meditation you may do it seated (the way Harish Johari says)
or in Savasana, just the way you feel better, and the column straight.

---

There's some points here and there that I've learned from someone; but
is above all my experience, on how to use it....
(for instance, I have already succed in resolving a stomach ache, with
the 3rd chakra chant)
