HELP RESCUE KATRINA ANIMALS!!!!!!! UPDATE

There's a trip leaving tomorrow to help with animal rescue efforts! See
below for more info!
There is a network of volunteers getting into New Orleans and other
affected towns to rescue the animals that have been stuck there. We
have a long list of addresses of pets needing to be evacuated in
addition to the thousands of pets stranded and starving in the streets.
Time is of the essence! These animals are starving! We have a way to
get in, networks of people to meet with us up there, and shelters to
bring all of the rescued pets to.

Let's get a group going from Chicago! We'll need a car or van,
supplies, and a 4 or so days to make the trip worthwhile. Any
takers???? Please call or email me asap.
UPDATE:
We have a van going down tomorrow morning (Thursday, Sept. 15). We
desperately need supplies and funding for gear, vaccinations, pet food,
canned pet food, crates, a sign for the car (so we can get in), gas,
