The Universal Law...
|
|
|
| On Friday,
President Bush took an aerial tour of the city and answered complaints
about a sluggish government response by saying, "We're going to make it
right." A crowd of nearly 20,000 stood outside the convention center as
at least three dozen camouflage-green troop vehicles and supply trucks
finally rolled through axle-deep floodwaters into what remained of New
Orleans.
In what looked like a scene from a Third World country, some outside
the convention center threw their arms heavenward and others hollered
profanities as the trucks and hundreds of soldiers arrived in the
punishing midday heat. Watching the caravan, Leschia Radford sang the
praises of a higher power.
"Lord, I thank you for getting us out of here!" Radford shrieked.
National Guard Lt. Col. Jerry Crooks said troops had served more than
70,000 meals outside the convention center and had 130,000 more on
hand.
But on Saturday, hope was overtaken by frustration as people continued
to wait. A dead man lay on sidewalk under a blanket with a stream of
blood running down the pavement toward the gutter. People said he died
from violence.
>From AP.
There is an UNIVERSAL LAW it states that " WHATEVER YOU DO YOU`LL GET
THE SAME"
We all should remember this universal law.
With compassion,

I think you are right.
Those who chose not leave when advised, suffer now, as they hinder the
attempts to rescue those who could not leave.

Another news is really a sort of lesson
"DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - While the Army ordered its
Louisiana-based troops to stay and fight in Iraq, the Air Force
said Saturday it would send 300 airmen home from Iraq and
Afghanistan to handle emergencies on a Mississippi air base devastated
by Hurricane Katrina. " (AP)
It is interesting that KATRINA forces Mr.Bush to take some of his
troops from IRAQ and AFGANISTAN to HOME....
This is just a warning of the UNIVERSAL LAW

| Underscoring the dangerous nature of the operation, a helicopter
crashed northwest of downtown New Orleans Sunday evening. The pilot and
crew were rescued, said those aboard another helicopter hovering above
just after the crash.
The mangled Eurocopter AS 332 Super Puma was lying on its side about
four miles from downtown. The Coast Guard carried the crew from the
scene on another helicopter.

Paul,
Your question is a good one and the short answer is no :-) A slightly
longer answer (which I expect will only be slightly comprehensible) is
as follows:
First of all, any Universal Law relates to the inhabitants of New
Orleans the same way it relates to everyone else on the planet and
indeed in the universe. It is, after all, a Universal Law (or
Principle). Your question might better have been, what Universal Law
are you talking about? I personally have no idea what Puma is talking
about here :-)
Secondly, there is no death and so there is nothing to "deserve".
Thirdly there is no "deserving" or "not deserving" in the universe
because there is no "having" or "not having" in the universe. And
finally the law of karma is nearly universally misunderstood in the
west (in the east as well I think) and has nothing to do with
"deserving," "retribution," or any other such "moral" notion.

As usual, after reading one of your posts, I need a lie down. ;o)
Thanks mate, as inspired as ever. I guess your saying Puma's view, or my
interpretation of it, is a little narrow.
