Personaly I don' think a teacher should ever ask
and anything above the teacher's needs should be refused or donated
to others.

If you are a real teacher, no money or possession will be of your
interest. You may die like a dog on the street - but it will never
distract your attention. Whatever the students may learn or not, you
will never control their freedom... it is better to fly alone... but to
fly.
