How soon can you get back to yoga, especially doing headstand, after a
cataract operation?

You should ask your doctor. I had surgery on my tearduct a year ago and my
doctor told me to stay away from yoga for at least 3 weeks. Anything that I
had to make enough effort that my eye bulged even slightly was off limits.
This means any forward bending, sitting or standing, inversions, tight
twists. Check with your doctor or hospital for instructions specific to
cataract surgery.
