I'm not talking about compromise, I'm talking about putting mindsets
where they can make the most of them: Self-interest in respect to self;
other-interest in respect to others. That is, absolute liberty (of
thought, feeling, being, travel, study, marriage, etc) making the most
of self-interest, and work that leads to long-term benefit of mankind
(clean technology, sustainable development, scientific & medical
progress, education, philanthropy, art & literature) making the most of
other-interest.

I don't know if that's possible. I think that American entrepreneurship
& Chinese work skills can together make something great (and of course
they are). Put American capital to build prosperity in China, soon
they'll be able to educate everyone there & develop infrastructure
necessary to build greater prosperity & also develop a great science &
space program, train doctors, develop system to take care of elderly,
etc. Politically, well, I'll get back to you on that.
