| I started doing Yoga (via video tape) about 8 months ago to help with
my Rheaumatoid Arthritis. About two months into the Yoga, I started
getting numbness and pain in my right arm. After some physical
therapy, this went away. About 2 months ago, I started getting
numbness and pain in my lower back and right leg. While getting
physical therapy for this problem the physical therapist suggested
that I discontinue the Yoga for a while. As soon as I stopped doing
the Yoga, the numbness and pain subsited substantially.
I am getting bennefits from the Yoga, and would like to continue, but
at the same time, I don't want to introduce new pain in my body. What
should I do???
