I find that most yoga incorporates stretches and such poses that aim
at relaxing and focusing on connective tissues..opening up
flexibility..etc. Perhaps in Power Yoga and other styles that move
faster there is not a hold in these kind of poses as long. I guess
the Yin Yoga sell is as any...a main or specific focus for a
particular reason or benefits. The holding these poses longer apsect
of it I think is good idea; as long at its not forced, or rushed, but
gently applied. Doing these type of poses also in turn observing not
just body but inner process and effects can be greatly beneficial and
invigorating. Speaking of Yin Yoga....anyone read "The Forgotten
Salutations" by Lawrence Biscontini ?. The book is supposed to focus
on Moon Salutations .
