Greetings!

I am new to this group. Recently I started practicing Ashtanga Yoga at
home using some DVDs from GAIAM which I am happy with. (After building
some strength I'll probably find a local class I can join.)

I've only been doing the practice for about 3 weeks now, but I'm
building strenght quickly and I have been feeling great.

About a week ago I started to develop some interesting symptoms which
could be detox but if it is, would be the deepest detox I have ever had
(and I have done all sorts of cleanses in my life). I'm curious to see
if anyone else has anything similar which has happened to them after
progressing in yoga. Here are some of my symptoms:

-Random itchiness all over my body. It's not (like a bug bite), but I
get it all over in random places. Once I scratch one spot I get
another one somewhere else.

-About 4-5 lymph nodes on the right side of my head swelled up for two
or three days (on either side of my ear, mid-right neck and then two
bumps that I don't think are even lymph nodes on the top right side of
my forhead).

-One spot on my forehead, more or less in the middle (maybe a bit to
the right) and sometimes the top of my head itches regularly and when I
scratch it, the relief is disproportionate to the itch. In other
words, it itches like the rest of them but when I scratch it it feels
SOOOO good--as if I'm scratching an special spot somehow.

-Energy levels rise and fall a bit throughout the day.

There might be other things but those are the ones that come to mind.

Anyone else out there have any interesting detoxification stories?

your prana patterns have changed and for a while you
will be sensitve to the changes. then they will stabilize
in the new pattern and it will be life as usual.
