| I knew Swami Satchidananda back in 1970 -1971 when he was at Ananda
Ashram, in Monroe, NY. I also travel with him in India and Ceylon. He
was really screwed up, bragging about how he could sleep with two young
girls at the same time without having sex with them. He taught
celibacy, but he had many sexual scandals and forced himself on his
much younger female disciples. He was basically full of beans as a
teacher, ...short tempered and cunning. Yoga is OK, but his teaching
of it was all wrong as was his hypocritical, screwball Hindu
philosophy.
Most gurus are like that, from Trungpa Rinpoche to Osho-Rajneesh.
