700E,

Hi, I think if you replace the word Buddhism with yoga the substance of
the post is quite relevant to a yogi trying to make his/her way in the
world. I personally benifited from reading the post as it validates
other writings I have studied and conclusions I have drawn.

Fact is ashrams are polictical and in my experience there is a dearth
of wisdom there. This is why I have never returned. The himilayas are
out. I have come to the conclusion that where ever you go there you
are. If one can realize in a cave then one can live a realized life in
the "real" world. One can renounce in the "real" world and one can work
and function on a spiritual basis in the "real" world :-) C'mon God's
everywhere so why should one need or want to go anywhere other then
where they are "now". Hey it's that living in the "now" thing again :-)

What's your take on living and working when you know there is God?

Jared
