| Dear all,
I am wondering if anyone in here knows a name of a specific asana.
I saw a description in a book long time ago.
it is in fact a side spread, you know, both legs spreading
side ways and "manhood" down on the flour.
What is the sanskrit name of this asana?
Where can I get more info on this particular asana?
I have been searching the net for some time now, hope you somebody in
here can help me.
thank you
namaste.

Sounds like you may be describing either samakoNa:sana or upaviSTha
koNa:sana. There are a couple of pictures of the former in the Files
section of the yogabare group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/yogabare.
The latter can be seen in plates 148-152 of Light on Yoga.
Hope this helps.
