Personally, I think it's better to alternate forward bends with
backbends. Doing one forward bend after another could be asking for
trouble. It also sounds more like contortionism than yoga. Yoga isn't
necessarily about doing the most difficult; it's about physical,
mental,
and spiritual health. (All just my opinion, of course, but I've been
doing it for 37 years.)

I agree. I would no more focus my asana session on forward bends than
I would focus it on one side of the body. Balance, frontside, backside
leftside, right side, always seems best
