Good points. Psychics and teachers then were more credible then than
now as well. I've noticed a few psychics who have truly a gift, but
most nowadays are just out for profit and make it worse on those with
the true gift. Its a shame because the good guys credibility goes
down along with the bad.

Not so. I think people are out there searching. Organized religions
take many potential devout saints and brainwash them beyond
rationality. Its always an easy ticket and more appealing with
religion. One life of believing something and the rest is bliss in
the afterlife....very appealing compared to doctrines of reincarnation
where it could take eons to reach the ultimate.

Yes indeed. Pleasure and pain are a two sided coin. I think
moderation....especially here in the USA is lost these days. We here
are the No. 1 consuming society in the history of the world. As you
stated before other technologies...psychic technologies are the only
way for mankind to survive. Man XXXXs too much with nature. Now we
have so many people obsessed with the coming Nanotech revolution...A
non-spiritual way to overcome the obsticles in life. Some of these
Sci-Fi fanatics even think they will live 900 years with such
technologies. But look at all the scientific breakthroughs. There
are many great inventions but always duality kicks in. The great
things aren't free...not here on Earth....Man must look to the
spiritual which is within and all around.
