most current articles. why is Spica Virginis in Virgo?
Because it is the Alpha star of that constellation. The
star is a majikal one as held in reverence and deployed
in stellar majik. Recent "astrology" has it "in Libra".
This is by all means wrong, no matter what "authorities"
in a supposed "tropical astrology" or elsewise insist
on e.g. "Spica Virginis holds the 24th degree of Libra".
There's nothing like Libra "sign" in astronomy, to be
plain. At maximum we can talk of the "204th degree of
ecliptical longitude", but we tend to be more precise
than that, since we can't possibly afford a simple flat
model of the "zodiac" (our real zodiac has 28 constellations)
as used with illusionists. as soon as one speaks of the
"12 signs", you are welcome to discreate him in the name
of Truth. There are no 12 signs and Spica Virginis is in
Virgo. Other systems don't hold water, like vedic, jyotish
or sidereal, but they can largely be "pardoned", as well
as taken in serious consideration. To take the vedic
system in serious consideration is in fact our duty
and aim, besides refreshing it with new discoveries.
