I know this followup is only about a year later but you describe EXACTLY
the situation my wife has faced. She switched from Focus 55 lenses to
the Advance. She could wear the 55 lenses for what seemed like a month
before replacing them. She was VERY discouraged to discover that the
Advance lenses are so finiky being tainted by the slightest unknown
contaminant in the air or something. Now she wears them about 7 days
before replacing...guess more money is now going to Vistakon on a
regular basis. On a good note when the lenses work well for her they are
very comfortable. The frustrating thing is that when reporting her bad
luck with the lenses to the eye doctor she was told that she is about
the ONLY one having any kind of trouble with the lens. Nuts on that.
