| I had cataract surgery on my right eye a couple of months ago.
Everything seemed to go fine, but sometimes I have this annoying
peripheral "blockage" which I describe as if I had an eyelid on the
side of my eye which partially closes when I'm trying to focus on
something moderately close. Initially the doctor thought it might be
from swelling related to the surgery. When it did not go away he
suggested I might be getting some refraction at the edge of the
replacement lens. That sounds reasonable. but it is still annoying.
BTW, he did examine the eye to make sure the lens was centered and
everything looked ok.
My question is whether this is common and should I expect similar
results when I have my left eye done?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
