I'm currently scheduled for a MUGA scan that uses (Technetium) TCM-99
ionizing radiation (Possible CHF which could be correlated to renal
impairment), my question(s) are what are the risks posed regarding
diminished renal function via the fact that 0.17 mGy/MBq and 0.63 rad/mCi of
radiation are absorbed and excreted via the Kidneys?, what are cancer risks
as result of exposure to the radiation and the Gamma camera...?
