Author ultrasonography with a personal computer?

is it possible to buy a card for my pc to wich i can link sonography
probes?

I dont recall a sono-probe connection to PCI cards, but..
There is a lithuanian company making USB-'boxes' which link to
US-probes. They seem a little shy about their prices.. Take a look at
http://www.telemed.lt/main_eng.htm

A chinese company has something similar, I corresponded
with them for a while, they are not shy about their prices but they dont
communicate too well. I can look that URL up if you need it.

Tanx, it's very interesting! But do you have an idea about how much it
costs?
They send it out of their country?

Chinese maybe have lower prices, but sending may be more problematic..I'm in
Italy, where are yiou from?

sure, they do export.

probably cheaper, but where do you go if there are problems? At least
the lithuanians are in the EU (no customs duties)..
