The 8th International Workshop on Digital Mammography will be held in

over 220 delegates from 17 countries attending the last meeting.

The meeting is multidisciplinary, with contributions from physicists,
computer scientists, clinicians and engineers, and a significant
presence from commercial R&D.

The meeting will be held at the Manchester Conference Centre, with its
integral Days Hotel. This is 300m from Manchester Piccadilly Railway
Station, and within easy reach of Manchester Airport. Further details
including maps can be found on the Conference Centre website

results, and quality of evaluation. All papers will be blind-refereed,
normally independently by two members of the international programme
committee.

IWDM 2006 will be a single-track meeting with both oral and poster
presentations. The proceedings will be published and made available
to delegates at the conference. In addition to the contributed papers,
