Would the protocol for an abdominal CT include any bone windows? Of
which bones? I know I had a chest CT and the thoracic spine and ribs
were included. Would a regular abdominal CT include the Lumbo-Sacral
spine, the iliac bones, the hips, and the entire pelvis?

Thanks!

A routine abd. ct does not show bone windows. A radiologist might
request them later, but again they are not routine. Depending on the
scanner, the protocols for abd. and for spines are very different.
Usually you use smaller slices for a spine as opposed to a spine or
extremity.
