Gallium question and lymphoma

| Can a normal gallium scan pretty much exclude lymphoma? I had a normal
gallium scan with the exception of a "hot" spot around my lung. (3 cm)
Follow up ct showed everything normal (chest ct).
I have alot of the symtoms including the "b" symptoms of lymphoma.
Can I rest assured I dont have it?

There are no guarantees.

| Really man you need to stop obsessing over this.
You've had a normal gallium scan (with exception of a spot on your lung).
You've had a Chest CT (for the spot on your lung) which was also negative.
You're doctors are satisfied with the results. You should be as well. If
you're absolutely convinced that you have lymphoma, then seek out a second
opinion. When that comes back negative as well, then PLEASE move on and
enjoy life.

| What an irresponsible reply.

No. Not really on anything. I was on Prozac for awhile but been off
almost two months.

Why did you stop?

| To be truthful when the doctor was worried about lymphoma I forgot to
take it a few times and just thought it would be good to stop. I really
feel it did not do anything. I was on a very low dose because I was
having heart palpatations and they thought they might be anxiety
related. But a later holter monitor proved I had occurances of atrial
tachycardia.
