Author Where can I buy my own Radiation Exposure Level badge?

Can someone recommend a good company or website where I can buy a
radiation exposure badge?

Also, would a badge that detects radiation from Xrays also detect the
type of radiation coming from an SEM or TEM?

I work with an electron microscope as part of my job, and it is not a
requirement for me to get monitored, but I want to be on the safe side.
Also how much should I expect to pay?

Thank you
MArty

I would discuss this with your local radiation safety officer.
they can arrange to have temporary radiation monitors placed in the area
you work to see what kinds of radiation levels you might be exposed to.
From an electron microscopy, I would expect it to be none (above
background). If there are any leaks, they can make recommendations on
appropriate fixes.

They can also discuss your concerns with you and possibly
help allay them.

and keep in mind monitoring isn't going to keep you safe. all it's going
to do is tell you how much you were exposed to.
