It's a nice picture, but misleading. It is partly a reconstruction,
not an actual image of the CT scan.
There is no way the man looked like that before they wrapped him. The
dead are dried in natron* for a few weeks and coming out looking like
the dessicated husks they are. If he were wealthy he might have gotten
some recontructive work by the embalmer but the people who did the
reconstruction mentioned that they had to get how much fat was on his
flesh and needed to reference anchor points on his bones: not
something you need if you are just taking a picture.
*Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate with some Sodium Sulphate and
Sodium Chloride.
