Author How Many PVP's has your doc done?

Today I traveled 260 miles round trip to visit Dr. Vincent Cubelli, in
Denville, NJ. He answered all my questions but we did seem to develop
that spark that would make for a good doctor patient relationship. Although
he is listed on the Laserscope website, he did not seem as enthusiantic
about the PVP as I had hoped. He had done 50 PVP procedures over a one year
period and I wonder how that compares with other docs used guys in the
newsgroup. He also wanted to leave in the catheter for two days after the
procedure, and it had to be taken out by him or a visiting nurse. Seems
like most guys had them in for, at most, 24 hours, and some were allowed
to remove it themselves.

Since my health plan will not pay for the procedure, I am now planning on
having the cysto, rectal, and bladder tests done locally and then take them
with me to then next doctor and hopefully I can click with him and then set
up a surgery appointment.
