| I had my PVP 15 and half months ago. After a painful period of recovery
that I would like to forget, I considered the operation a success and still
do. Today I was surprised when my urine looked dark and left an inch long
chunk of dark tissue in the toilet.
I thought all the healing was over a long time ago but was surprised by this
chunk. There was no pain and a subsequent urination was normal. I should
mention that this urination followed a vigorous period of exercise. I had
just hiked the "Billy Goat Trail" of the C & O canal in Maryland. This is a
five mile rock scrabble up and over a lot of hills. I did stumble once but
landed on my shoulder and did not hurt myself. I lead a very active life
style that includes frequent hikes high into the mountains. This is the
first time I have passed a chunk in a very long time. I wonder if this is
typical.
