Does any one have a procedure on how to propagate and freeze CMV for
use as a positive shell vial control? Some specific questions:
1) Is it better to aliquot the controls so that they are one-time use?

2) Is freezing the specimen better vs. propagating virus in tissue
culture first - then freezing?
3) Is a 50% Sorbitol combined equally with Hanks Balanced Salt a good
medium to freeze CMV?

Thank you!
