| 1) Desk phone on nurse's desk. Call back every half hour or so.
2) Pagers seem epidemic. I think there are an average of 1.8 pagers per
doctor in the system (guessing).
3) Check with the hospital folks about walkie talkies -- some wave bands
interfere with medical equipment

I am a phlebotomy supervisor @ a hospital on coastal, Ga. I need some ideas
for different types of communication systems for my phlebs to use throughout
hospital. My clerks need to be able to reach them to inform them of stats,
etc...there are pagers and handheld radios, any opinions? advice?...thanks
