Author Had hoarseness for 9 years...Any cure?

A very good friend of ours has had a bad speaking problem for 8-9 years. She
is very hoarse and has much trouble
getting her words out. And she is very hard to understand.

She has been to many doctors who don't seem to know what her problem is. No
one has been able to help her.

Does anyone know of any doctor who could help her or has had any experience
with treating this condition?

She is a woman in her fifties.

PLEASE! Help is much needed...And appreciated!

Has she ever been to a medical center that specializes in treating voice
disorders? Such as the Center for Voice Disorders at Wake Forest
University?

She needs to see a speech therapist or a speech pathologist.

hi! i suggest her to try 'ayurvedic medicine'. i am indian in origin
and i can suggest you a couple of herbs, but am not sure if they'll be
available in your country. ayurveda doesnt lead to any harmful
side-effects because it is 100% herbal. message me in case you are
interested in ayurvedic medicine and a couple of yoga postures.
regards!!

Has she been checked for GERD (acid reflux). The acid form your stomach
comes up into your throat, usually at night, and can make you hoarse.
