Does anyone pull or rupture muscles with Osteoporosis?

I have had pain in my hip area on the left side and on my back this last
week. I could not get up from a chair without pain.

I bought a ThermaCare heat wrap and was off my feet for 2 days. It
seemed to help, so I can move around without that pain. But I cannot use
my back area or lean over from the waist or it comes right back.

Tests ??????

Uh... sure - there isn't anything special about Osteoporosis that would
prevent you from pulling or rupturing a muscle. It won't cause a pulled
or ruptured muscle, though.

See your doctor to confirm that it is a mild sprain. He might want you
to use some antiinflamatories.

Once it is better, the best preventative is exercises to strengthen your back
muscles (which, in turn, will make it easier to maintain good posture).
