I seem to have some sort of kidney or liver problem but my doctor does not
seem to think that I have kidney or liver problems since all blood and
urine tests don't indicate any major problems.
The Hemoglobin Screen (urine test) was positive but the doctor said that
it was nothing to worry about.

I have edema and when I eat black beans--my kidney stop working for about
14 hours. I no longer eat any types of beans. I don't know if any other
foods will cause my kidneys to stop working. I now only eat vegetables and
fruit--also various type of nuts. The AST (SGOT) blood test was the only
thing on the blood test that was not normal--The number was 34 U/L. The
usual clinical range is 0 to 33. Creatinine (blood and urine) was normal.
Glucose was also normal. BUN was also normal.

No, you dont have kidney or liver problems. Based on thorough
examination of your lab results, I think your problem is either in your
head or your large intestine. It's difficult to know which without
having further tests. I suggest you have a proctoscopic examination of
your head and buttocks, then get back to us with the results. Don't
forget to wipe your XXX.

'We', of sci med, would NEVER criticize anybody that posts serious
inquiries as to their health.
