Author Tap (Faucet) Washer Changing For Dummies.

I just changed a tap washer that was leaking. It took about ten minutes and it
was easy, but I do hear some *stoopids* can't do it, so hear are some tips.

Always put the plug in the sink so that small parts don't go down the plug and
any water is saved, thus allowing you to wash your hands afterwards.

Have the correct tools for the job i.e. spanner, wrench and screwdrivers.

Turn off the water supply first.

Take it apart carefully and observe how it came apart, replace the worn or
broken parts, and reassemble in the exact reverse order that you took it apart.
Tighten it with the required tools and turn off the tap.

Turn on the water supply again and go check that the tap works.

Now you print this one out Mr Lurker and you won't be needing to phone Mommy in
a panic next time.
