The Patriot Act II will get rid of those rights. Now, the police can search
your house without a warrant and without your knowledge. They can arrest you
and hold you indefinitely without charges or legal counsel, even if you
"take the fifth". Can anyone say "totalitarian"?

Oh, and did I ever mention that I learned the constitution at age 17 while I
was studying to be an electrical engineer and did I ever mention that recording
studio I made my step daughter? I'm sure you have it archived somewhere.

And using foul language on the telephone is a criminal offence under English
law yaknow?

But even worse was the wicked things you said about your own wife, all now
burned nicely to a CD.

Now that sounds to me like *cruel* and *inhuman* *behaviour* to me, but what
would I know about the law?

And now my in-box sits empty and I hope you haven't gone and made any *huge*
mistakes Mr Lurker.

Oh I agree with you Alias, but then neither of us live in America, and the
British republic lasted something like 12 years before we realised that a Lord
High Protector is just another label for King, just as President is too, and
now we have this system that has been running along in its quaint English way
for 500 years or so, and we get the occasional idiot for king, or the
occasional idiot for PM, but they come and they go, and things still get done
at the grass roots level much the same as they always have, and I guess Spain
is pretty much the same. And even Bush seems to have realised he can't save the
world, and with this screw-up over Rover Cars and thousands of people about to
lose their jobs because My Blair was too busy trying to save the world when he
should have been saving our car industry, it is going to cost him his job I
reckon.

But I'm rambling now Alias, and the other matter has now moved up the chain of
command to the very top, and is out of my hands now, and is no longer my
concern, so I trust you are having a lovely Sunday, cos I just got back home
and it is a delightful Sunday afternoon, and I have fresh strawberries and when
the ice-cream man turns up, it is strawberries and ice-cream. Yummeeeeeeee.

I had fresh strawberries, chocolate ice cream with dark pieces of chocolate
in it all covered with whipped cream for dessert tonight. Heaven!

Yep, you don't have to wait until after you die to be in heaven -- or hell.
