I guess the above would give a bit of credence to my .. viscosity
leading to .. inflammation ..

Eh ..

Erythrocytosis leads to viscosity and erythrocytosis leads to
inflammation.
Increased viscosity of intravenous fluids leads to inflammation.

Soooo .. does viscosity cause inflammation .. ?

Seems like it may.
