| How many so-called consultants does Bard have through out the nation?
Probably thousands. Here is how the game is played. If you are willing
to use a Bard PICC very often you will also be offered a job as a
consultant for Bard. How can a RN be objective if she is being paid as
a consultant to BARD? In other words use a BARD PICC and get paid by
Bard as a consultant. This is a gross conflict of interest and it is
only a matter of time before the Justice Department and the FDA looks
into this disgraceful arrangement, as they have done with the Ortho
industry. If a RN is a Bard consultant and also uses Bard PICCS in
her/his hospital, she/he has a vested interest in the continued use of
Bard. How can one be a consultant if one's own hospital is not using
the product: That would not be a good selling point for the so-called
consultant. We need to clean up our industry, because if we don't
sooner or later the Feds will do just that.

RNs don't insert PICCs in my hospital. Go speak to the radiologists.
