Author Looking for ER stories

I am in the process of writing a book about life in the Emergency Room.

One of the chapters will touch on some of the more wayward, odd,
hilarious, and downright outrageous situations ER doctors and nurses
have encountered. The working title for the chapter is "I Slipped and
Fell on the Cucumber," which gives you an idea as to the type of
story for which we are looking.

I am seeking story submissions from you, the ER professionals who
experienced them or know of them. The publisher will pay $50 for each
original story (paid only for the first submission, in the case of
multiple submissions of the same story) included in the published
version of the book.

Your identity will be protected, and all of the stories' identifying
details, from hospital location to any patient characteristics, will be

completely disguised or omitted in order to maintain anonymity. Please

do not include any patient specifics ( e.g. names) in your submissions,

though please do include your name and address so the publisher can pay

you if your story is published. By submitting a story, you will be
waiving your rights to said story.

Please pass this offer along to any of your ER colleagues who may have
stories for consideration.

Email me at erstor...@gmail.com with questions and/or your story
submissions.

A bit more detail about you would be good - I'm a little cynical, but I'd be
worried that I'd submit my storiy, get published, and never hear from you
again.

Without a name or a publisher, I'd be pretty silly to "waive all my rights",
wouldn't I?

Good Luck,
