A proposition for the forward-thinking

| This page is a lament. Why? you ask? Because my life is so limited.
How? you ask? Let me put this bluntly, because no matter how I put it
it will be interpreted as flauting the laws of the United States, but
please... it is really so much more forward-thinking than that that
calling it flauting the law really amounts to sacrilege in my eyes.
OK, here it is. I'm a druggie. Or rather, a wannabe druggie, since
the chemicals I find most beneficial are so extremely hard to come
across where I live.
I lament for the lucidity I lack. That which I gain temporarily by
ingesting LSD, that which I hone intermittently with psychoactive
mushroom trips, that which I long for constantly in the relatively
frozen landscape of my unenhanced mind. Most people who have tried LSD
will agree with me: the potential uses of this chemical in catalyzing
the growth of the world are enormous.
We (in the U.S.) are confronted by a problem that's seemingly
insolvable - the miraculous mind-enhancers will be legalized only when
demand is sufficient; demand will remain low until people have
sufficient access to try the chemicals; and prohibition makes providing
and utilizing access risky.
How do we solve this problem? My best proposition as of today is to
organize a revolutionary mind-expansion retreat for the U.S. Congress.
Let them see firsthand what their laws are denying us. Please help me
make this dream a reality for you, me, every citizen of the country,
and eventually, the whole world. This is the first step towards
uniting the country, and uniting the country is the first step towards
uniting the world in a lasting and mutually beneficial peace.
Friends! You can help. This proposition is in its earliest stages of
formation. I'll accept all the help available to me, in the form of:
suggestions; publicity; communication to others; testimonies
encouraging the Congressmen; and financial donations. Together I am
certain that we have power enough to end the injustice of the drug war,
and bring enhanced mental capabilities to the people who make up the
institution that governs our lives.
