Uh; when I began reading you account of this mystery trip I thought I might
have some idea of what you might have taken; but as I read on I became less
and less certain. I know of no drug which could produce all the symptoms you
describe. I find it hard to think of any combination of drugs which would
produce these effects and I'm 47 years old and have done a great variety of
drugs and have read up on all mind altering substances I've ever heard of.

Well; I'll give you what I do know along these lines but I don't think it
will provide any conclusive answers.

First two things I find pertainant is you probaly had some MDMA in your
system though possibly only from the first pills and you sould be aware that
the designation E can refer to two different drugs. Most commonly E refers
to MDMA but it has been known to also be applied to the drug escaline.
Escaline is an easily synthesised analog of mescaline. I have never actually
tried the drug but reports about the drug vary from the drug being
indistinguishable from mescaline in effect and five times the potency by
wieght to reports that the drug is inferior in quality of effect to
mescaline and has vaguely defined side effects in the nature of mild to
moderate physical discomfort. The drug is definately reported to cause
hallucinations but not of delusional sort you seem to be describing.
Although the drug is rare, it is not hard to manufacture; so if somebody
want to cook some up it could suddenly appear on the streets.

A drug which is reported to produce hallucinations of sort you describe is
3,4 methylenedioxy-6 methoxy-amphetamine again this is a rare drug which I
have never tried but it can be easily synthesised from parsely oil and basic
lab chemicals. What makes an especially likely canidate is that it is often
abbreviated as MMDA and a simple confusion of the letter ordering could lead
it to be mistaken with MDMA. Furthermore; alot of the older literature and
simplistic anti-drug pamphlets simply list it as an analog of MDA or MDMA.
More scientific reports describe it as a long acting drug twelve hours or
more which has some MDA like effects but also produces waking dream like
expereinces and reliving old memories in vivid detail. Although data on the
drug is sparse and sometimes contradicory I've read no reports of this drug
producing significant physical side effects. Of course if it was poorly
made, who knows what side effects it might have? Its just easy enough to
make to tempt someone with little chemical knowledge to attempt production.

I've done PCP and you're expeirence doesn't quite match any of my
expereinces with PCP, which was a common drug when I was in high school.
However; PCP in large doses is reported to shutdown the kidneys and cause
convulsions so maybe it was in a mix with other drugs.

The last possibility I can think of is nutmeg oil. It is possible to make
MDMA from nutmeg oil though it is not very commonly used for this purpose
because it contains many hard to seperate out impurities. Attempting to make
MDMA without purification would produce a product contaminated with the
above mentioned MMDA and a drug designated as TMA. TMA was much rescearched
as an agent to break down the minds of captives by the military. It has
sometimes shown up on the streets but has never been popular since most
people don't like it. Lastly, nutmeg oil contains somekind of terpintine
like substance which produces great physical discomfort. Consuming large
quantities of plain nutmeg will produce a pleasant buzz followed by a
horrendous hangover the next morning.

Well that's everything I can think of that could possibly produce anything
like you describe, but no single canidate would produce all the effects you
describe. Possibly a mix of some of the above mentioned substances or a bad
batch of one of them might be what you got, but I really don't know. I've
certainly never got ahold of anything like that and I've done a lot of
different drugs.

If you want a description of drugs which includes many MDMA like substances
enter PIHKAL into a search engine. You'll have plenty of info to sort
through!
