| I have some questions about what I used to think was Deja Vu but is
called precognition.
"For many years, psychologists have known of the phenomenon of Deja Vu,
where a patient is absolutely convinced that a first visit to an area
seemed like a place already familiar and known. (Deja vu is different
from various similar phenomena such as Precognition [where a person has
a premonition of some future event] or Clarivoyance [where a person
comes to know about some simultaneous event a long distance away] or
assorted other unusual phenomena."
Do you believe in Precognition/Deja Vu?
I think I have had at least 3 instances of Precognition. One for sure.
I had a dream that me and my friend Don would be walking in a forest
with some American Indians. This was odd because I lived in Chicago.
About two years later I went on a white water rafting trip in upper
Wisconsin (with a ton of people) where at the end just Don and I were
walking with some American Indians through the forest. The experience
was very weird.
I recently moved to Las Vegas and had another precognition experience.
I was sitting at the tables and something happened that I remembered
from a dream. Once again this was odd because I had no long term plans
to move to Las Vegas although it may have been in the back of my head
somewhere.
My second question about my precognitions is why they seem so
unimportant in my case. All three have been staged around what seem to
me very unimportant events. I barely paid attention to the most recent
one. It was not as though I met the love of my life on that rafting
trip. It would seem to me that if this had really happened it would be
focused on some major event, True? Is it also possible that they are
major events (only 3 times in 34 years) and I am some how missing what
they are showing me?
