a friend and I recently took a couple hits of E each from a realiable
source then later that night we were offered two more purple pills each
from a not so realiable source and were told they too were E. We then
encountered some very strange and unusal experiences. I am wondering
if the sympotoms we experienced were because of the amount we consumed
(4 tabs each within a couple hours) or if the purple pills were
actually something else.
The usual euphoric feelings were there, the openiness and "loving"
feelings were also present. But we both then started to hallucinate and
started to talk to and see people who were not actual there. It was
hard to tell if I was dreaming or awake while expereinceing these
hallucinations. We both then became extrodinarly talkitive and were
carry on conversation with eachother that the other was not involved
in. (basicaly, contiuning to talk to eachother but not about the same
things)
We both tried to eat inediable things (ie soap, toothbrush) because we
thought they were food or ciggerettes. Other things occured too, like
extreme convlusions and extremly visual color changes.
The worst part of all was the inability to urinate the next day. I sat
on the toliet for hours trying to pee and couldn't. Also, the
dehyration was unreal. I really thought I was going to shrivel up and
dry-out on the inside.
I have not had much expereience with E (or any drugs for that matter)
and am just wondering if these strange expereinces we incountered could
have been due to a large doesage of MDMA or if maybe the purple pills
were actually something else?

well its hard to say how much you took, 4 tabs is a meaningless way to
look at it because different types of pills can have largely varying
amounts of MDMA -- the hallucinations you describe though do not sound
like anything I have experienced or anything that others that I know
have experienced on E. I also have friends who take 6-10 tabs per
experience, so I don't think that what you had was pure. A common
adultertant used to be PCP, that could account for what you experienced.
other than that I don't have many ideas about what you were taking,
but whatever it was wasn't MDMA

Yeah, I don't think the purple pills were E either. Sounds like some
kind of disassociative but I couldn't say what. The whole talking to
people that aren't there and the convulsions kinda' reminds me of
Dramamine. One thing I do know is that extremely high doses of E
doesn't change the over all effects of the roll/trip. It just prolongs
and intensifies the normal effects. A friend and I split 50 pills over
the course of 12 hours and the effects were never different than the
effect you get from 1 or 2 good pills.

Your trip doesn't sound like a bad trip though. Maybe you should try to
get the guy to tell you what was really in it.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, the trip actually wasn't bad, kinda fun
but the hangover was unreal! Unfortuantly, I don't know the guy who
sold us the purple pills and don't know where to find him again so I
guess this "magic" pill will always remain a mystery. Kinda sad that I
won't be trying to eat anymore bars of soap with the hope of lighting a
ciggerette. But thanks for the words y'all. If anyone ever does hear
of someone else having these expereiences let me know.
