| Ok, how many of you have taken some visual aids and been to
maps.google.com?
ooh.
last week i spent HOURS -- all night -- tripping and slowly scrolling
across djibouti, jerusalem, siberia, aukland, antarctica, gibraltar...
wow. pretty colors.
"!@#$%!!! What the **** am I looking at?" was a popular exclamation.
i had a few buddies along for the trip, and we felt kind of nerdy
tripping and surfing -- but then we ordered some d-vites and the
delivery lad walks in and he immediately is like, "Wow! google maps!
that's what i did all day! have you been to..."
it got me wondering how many houseloads were out there, on fungus,
acid, spice, or whatever else, doing the same thing. because if you
have tripped on the surface of the earth, we need to talk. if you
haven't tripped on the surface of the earth yet, then you need to get
on it.
I would like to have a history prof, an archaeologist, and maybe a few
geologists along ...
