| ok so noone statrted a thread in a while so i'll have a crack at it.
Whats the best album to listen to in the depths of a psychedelic
stupor? dark side? an obvious choice. but what else?
suggestions:
spiritualized- pure phase
legendary pink dots- any day now
pink floyd-saucer full of secrets (my favorite)

True... well... you can always go to allmusic.com and check out the
albumratings. The problem with album titles is that I usually just
have a bunch of albums shuffling in my winamp playlist and don't
memorize which tracks belong to which album.

| double albums as the wall (one album 2 records/ cds) or as in like a
nice pair (piper at the gates of dawn and saucer full of secrets) thats
two albums.
I'm old fashoned I guess i still spin records from time to time.

| you are stooopid. a real psychedellic experiance is FAAAAR from a
stupor. it is the antithisis of a stupor. have you ever tripped?? by
the way...sphongle-the remixes is THE BEST album on earth for
psychedelicizing. track 8 on the cd, "once upon a sea of blissful
awareness." listen to this song, at your peak. for me, it was my first
religious experiance...at exactly 4 minutes, 58 seconds. plus the
number is burned into my mind...ahhhh acid

I would say, for tripping.. not much else does it for me apart from psy
trance :O >>>
Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger <<< an amazing album, recomend for any
tripping, its about 60 mins and will take you on some crazy journey, to
me the definitive tripping album,,
recently i listened to DREADZONE - second light, not as hard as psy
trancey stuff but takes you on a real good journey from start to finish
the album pulls you along, with some amusing bits in between and some
amazing strong emotional bits..
some tracks ive heard by antix have been good, not sure of the album
though, creates amazing shapes patterns, for me psy trance pulls me
deeper into the trip and really gets the cogs going, other music is
good but seems to make me feel more sober, thats just me though, have
this other album goa transcendental 8? or something like that, 'a
psychadelic sojourn' this is chilled psy trancey stuff which is just
toooo lush, has tracks by astralasia , cosmosis and more, takes you to
an amazing subconcious paradise.
have gone on a bit now, dunno if anyone will actually read this,
anyway, everyone have fun,

| I have been tripping now, on a regular basis, for over 35 years..... my all
time favorite CD to listen to whilst in an altered state is one I discovered
in the early 90's called "Music to Disappear In" by Raphael. Don't know if
it is still available tho. Also if you decide to check it out, don't be put
off by the first track, which kinda reminds me of something Liberace would
do, LOL... the rest of the CD will take you places you just may have never
been before, I promise!!
