| Yep, it 4/20. This is the 116 anniversary of the birth of Adolf Hitler,
who was born 20 April 1889.
And of course, I managed to score a Godwin in one with this post. ;)

Yeah, it had been national pot day with few knowing it was also Adolf's
birthday until the Columbine massacre. I remember the day vividly,
listening to the radio at work while the DJs made not-so-subtle drug
references until it was all overshadowed by the news that afternoon.
I've baked birthday cakes on previous 4-20s as sort of a twisted joke,
complete with swastika in red icing, but today I got home too late
from work to bake one. But here are two quotes from essays written
by Rev. Manson in response to such killings (remember that he was
blamed for having "inspired" the Columbine killers):

Sad if true, but technically Hitler never killed anyone, at least not
personally. But like St. Charlie, Adolf is accused of ordering others
to kill for him which is still punishable as severely as personally
killing someone with your own hands.
