| Unfortunately, the source here is just a friend that states he
"apparently died after taking dextromethorphan". And, there isn't enough
details here like place of death that I can contact the coroner. A Google
search on his name comes up with squat about his death.

Memorial will honor pet lover
YUCAIPA: Boy Scouts are seeking donations to build a dog park to recognize
Erick Myrman.

By KARIN MARRIOTT / The Press-Enterprise
YUCAIPA - Two Boy Scout troops plan to build a dog park at the Yucaipa
Animal Placement Society that will memorialize a Yucaipa High School
graduate and his love of animals while raising awareness of drug abuse.
A member from Boy Scout Troop 16 and two from Troop 9 will seek donations to
build the Erick Myrman Memorial Park for their Eagle Scout projects, said
shelter Director Sherri Stanton.
Myrman, 20, an animal lover who owned several dogs, cats and other pets,
died on Feb. 14, family friend Brian Boyd said in a phone interview. Myrman
apparently died after taking dextromethorphan, or DXM, a drug common in
over-the-counter cough and cold remedies, Boyd said.
Dextromethorphan has become popular among youths who prefer to take it
recreationally. Boyd, a probation officer, said he has seen an increase in
the abuse of the drug.
"I think mainly because of his love for animals, we would like to promote
the care and welfare of the animals in there (at the shelter) and then maybe
bring some ... insight on the substances involved and what happened," Boyd
said.
Stanton said the park will be about 20,000 square-feet. It will be fenced
and have grass, landscaping, tables and chairs. It will also have a wall
with a plaque bearing Myrman's name. The wall will also have room for
plaques recognizing donors to the project and the shelter, she said.
The park will allow people adopting a dog to socialize with the animal in an
open area.
By also using the park to raise awareness of drug abuse, it will help one of
the shelter's programs aimed at turning troubled teens around, Stanton said.
"It's another tool for us to teach from and it's a very important message
for us to get across," she said.

Gee, altering the quoting of a person to say you wish he were dead,
perhaps? Now I really am thinking you're just a troll.
