| So after bitching for years about not knowing where to get these mushrooms,
I finally got off my XXX and did a simple google search. Came up with a few
links.
I am not wanting to just send some conman my money so he can laugh all the
way to the bank.
Anyone know whether or not these places are worth a try?

Also, what are the best type to get? Siberian, Colorado, or African? I
also noticed that the Amanita Pantherina is for sale on the bouncing bear
botanicals site. Are these better than the Muscarias?
I figure when I do get them I am going to start with my standard Mushroom
dose of 1/8oz. Are these the mushrooms that produce Muscimol through the
metabolic process?

I've heard of the reliability of bouncingbear.

I would have though Siberian, personally.

That is a VERY low dose for A. muscaria - a lot of people are put off them
by the sheer volume that can be needed to gain good results.
I've taken over 10g with only mild effects, but they can vary wildy in
potency...

Yes. One can aid the conversion before ingestion with some messing. Try
googling 'ibotenic acid decarboxylation muscimole' or some-such.

| Tis the season for Muscaria in Tucson: after the monsoon rains (in
August) it grows in the forest above 6000 feet. I took it several
times. It really is not much fun. It XXXXs with your heart
(literally); it makes you strong but you have to be strong to take it.
If you (or someone else) drinks your pee after you eat some, you will
get "high". Muscaria is more of a feeling than a high. It makes you
want to get up and do something, possibly kick XXX or dance.
Now that you mention it, since Cid is no longer here, I don't grow
shrooms and I plan a trip to Mt. Lemmon to check on a vacant lot I own
there....
I've eaten fresh, ripe, red and dried Muscaria, which I added to my
oatmeal. After the first half-hour you will feel like throwing up but
hold it down and you will feel better.

DO NOT screw about with Amanita.
If you want to know about stuff, then find out, but these can kill you to death.
And I mean that the way it sounds.
They are abundant, and you could find out the easy way BUT DONT. If you die you
might learn something that way.
There are ways and there are other ways, ask an Inuit for help. (she may spit in
your face but thats better than.... well.... nothing.... oh, and it may be a he
