Near nuclear power stations, you say? Then that thing was there to pick
up broadcasts from the computer screens (they really do broadcast the
image that is on them and it can be picked up and seen). They want to
see and record diagrams of the reactor to determine the technological
level of the nuclear industry on this planet and therefore the
potential threat if we venture into space.
If past life memories are real, then I've done that job. Hey, ho. It
never ends.
