The experiences with DMT seem to me to have a greater variety
than other psychedelics, the sound impressions, highly
detailed 3-D perception and moving out of the body would
speak in favor of it being an endogenous DMT experience,
the absence of geometric/fractal patters, flowing and
rippling of vision speak against it.
The time I experienced a spontaneous OBE was when I was getting
a flu or cold, and I was getting a fever and getting more
and more uncomfortable in my body, I then remeber I was
trying to find my 3rd/middel nostril (?) and some time
later I was floating out of my body as a shapeless
'cloud' of consciousness, and I floated into a storage
room next to my bedroom, where I merged with (became)
a radio that was there. For some time I could feel
that radio as if it was my body. I can't remember anymore
when and how I returned to my body, or how long this
experience lasted, this must have been when I was around
9 years old.
