Hello all,

as you have probably seen from my previous postings I need a little
help with Kill filing. How does one do it?
Help me please and assume that you are talking to a complete idiot with
the technical aspects

Thanks

Tim

hi Tim,

depends on the method you use to access the group. different
newsreaders may have slightly different ways of killfiling.

if you google in, unfortunately, AFAIK Google has *no*
killfile-ability...if you're a googler, just train yourelf to skip past
anything that begins OT:OT:OT:NoThisNoThatSomethingAboutxxx-xxxx's!

best of luck!

If the newsreader you now use doesn't have the capability, go to

http://xnews.newsguy.com/

and download the "Xnews" newsreader. It is free and it is a great reader.
I have used it (in different versions) for years and it rocks. It is also
easy to use.

It's free and has killfile capabilities plus quite a few other neat
features. And you can' beat the price!
