There are a lot of people that know what you are going
through here. Hang in there...I don't have anything real
spiritual to say...I just wish you peace in your mind, heart
and body. And hope that posting here will help you feel
like there is some kind of support out there. It helps me
on a regular basis!

With Hope!
Kami

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. It is so hard to say good-bye to
our animals. They are always there for us, and losing them hurts.

I hope you will feel better soon.

you can say anything you want here, we are listening, and caring. even
though sometimes it may seem their is no help in sight, to share your
thoughts and problems is what you need to do.

Youre in the right place Martin. I lost my dog not too long ago. Stef and
I cried for days...

My Robert had bad dreams all last night about losing our beloved dog.
She's still here, but it reminded us that they are just like our
children. I don't know what we would do without her in our lives. MS
sucks too; totally messed up my life but I try to work around it. Hate
the reminders...can't even enjoy painting my kid's bedroom. Then I
remind myself that I did it, where some people can't even hold the
roller or stand to paint the ceiling.

Take care, Kelly

AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS CURIOUS ENOUGH TO SEE WHAT MED-MODELS.COM
WAS?

Being the ever vigilant sceptic I just had to see what medical
models/prototypes/replicas/mock-ups were out there in the world of
medicine that I may have missed.

Well let me tell you, was I ever enlightened.

Martin your email host is very interesting to say the least. :-)

Do you have trouble with engligh? Are you familiar with an online
translater like AltaVista's Babel fish? I wonder because of the lack of
punctuation in your post, it made it a little difficult to read at
first.

You found a great place for support, we are a truly international group
of people so please, jump right in.

If you need any help in translation please contact me off group and I'll
see what I can do although if it's with castillion I'm a little rusty.

oh Martin, i'm so sorry for your loss, and i definitely do understand.
it's been more than 10 years since i lost my dog Mac, and i still miss
him. these days, though, i find myself thinking of the good times we
had with him and how much he added to all our lives, and smiling
instead of crying.

i think anyone who's had a much beloved dog completely understands that
we grieve for our companion critters in very much the same way we
grieve for human loved ones that we've lost. i know how trite it sounds
to say 'time heals,' but i have found that it does. the same steps
apply to any grieving process. we never forget our great dogs, and we
never stop missing them -- but after a while, the rawness of the grief
begins to fade, and the memories of the good times get stronger.

the Delta Society, who train assistance dogs for blind and other
physically disabled people, also have a web page dealing with
bereavement following the loss of a companion pet --
http://www.deltasociety.org/dsn000.htm

there are some online and by-location resources listed for those who
feel the need for some help in the grieving process, and many good
articles regarding what is, after all, the loss of a VERY close friend.

all my best thoughts to you,
rose

Dear Martin,

I am so sorry for your loss. My pets mean everything to me.

Lost "Kashmir" last March due to lack funds for the testing and surgery
required.
