| I went out yesterday to take advantage of the warm and beautifully sunny
weather, and wound up walking along one of my favourite mountain trails.
There's a nice clear spot about a mile along the trail, where I usually stop
for a relaxing drink (and/or snack) with the dog. About 40 feet above
there, on a steep slope of scree and mud, there's a perfect place from which
to see almost 180º of the neighbourhood.... for miles and miles and miles,
if the air's clear.
